Denise has a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Duquesne University and a Master's of Science in Nursing from the University of Pennsylvania. She has a Post-Masters in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing, a Post-Masters in Teaching, and a Post-Masters in Health Administration.

With over twenty years of experience as a Therapist, Educator, Leader, and Motivational Speaker, Denise inspires and motivates people to enrich their lives through personal empowerment. She is Board Certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing and licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in Florida, Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Denise received training by Dr. Aaron Beck in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in Philadelphia and is coauthor of Leadership and the Advanced Practice Nurse: The Future of a Changing Healthcare Environment published in 2017 which features a focus on self-care. Her passion is providing services to individuals, families and groups that exemplify compassion, excellence and innovation.
